Upon the introduction of these substances, we have been successful in both productivity and preservation of our foods. On the other hand, can we say that we have spent enough time with in-depth research and discussions over various effects by these substances? We have heard of a good number of health problems caused by these substances with not only us human but also other animals all around the world.
What can we do about it while waiting for adequate solutions for these problems? Some would suggest "Just eat the same foods as our grand parents had". This could be a way to go. Nothing other than organic foods was available up until a several decades ago. People in the future may say "I just can believe people back then were having something like that", in a way people today would say "Can't believe people used to eat lead canned foods".
